Role

As a Quality Engineer you will be involved with packaging of aseptic products, biotech products and related devices. You will report directly to the team leader within the support department and responsible for the design and implementation of packaging materials and the creation of master batch records for the packaging department. In addition you will be responsible for the following:

  • Define and optimize important support systems and, in this way, ensure an audit ready and compliant, yet efficient, support process
  • Conduct periodic reviews of relevant Quality Standards
  • Mapping potential quality and compliance gaps and defining and executing relevant action plans
  • Coordinate all quality-related matters for the support department
  • Be the operational & quality point of contact for the support department, where you work closely with technicians and project engineers
  • Follow up on the status of events, deviations and related actions.
  • Pro-actively discuss with the Quality department which information needs to be further supplemented and/or investigated
  • You are responsible for compliance related matters due to combination products
  • You collect the info for the Design History Files (DHFs)
  • You keep the DHFs up to date
  • You safeguard the requirements in packaging design
  • You perform risk analyses
  • You are an active member of the audit task force team

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a scientific direction with at least 3 years of experience or equivalent through experience
  • Experience in a quality department and/or in a production department
  • Very good communication and social skills
  • Coaching Skills
  • Meticulous independent person who likes to work in and with a team
  • Good analytical skills
  • Driven to find solutions and achieve results
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
  • Packaging and quality expertise is a plus
